Nina Dobrev Says Kellan Lutz 'Blows It Out Of The Park' In 'The Killing Game'

There are plenty of reasons to be jealous of Nina Dobrev. Not only is she on one of the best shows around (ahem, "Vampire Diaries") but she also gets to spend her days and nights working alongside hotties Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley. And now, we can add one more point of envy to the list.
Nina is starring alongside none other than Kellan Lutz (a guy who knows a thing or two about vampires...) in "The Killing Game," and she has nothing but great things to say about her new co-star.
"'The Killing Game' is an indie action film that Kellan stars in, and he blows it out of the park," Nina told Hollywood Crush. "It’s his movie and he kicks ass in it."
"The Killing Game" (not to be confused with "The Hunger Games"—although the plots share a few similarities) is an "action-thriller" (as described by Nina) that centers around a world in which men are matched up in gladiator-style battles for the entertainment of online viewers. Nina plays the role of Kellan's wife (are you jealous yet, Ian and Paul?).
"I have a small but important part in the film," she said. While Nina didn't elaborate much on her role, she couldn't stop gushing about Kellan's.
"Kellan does a really good job because as much as we’ve seen him in 'Twilight' and other movies, this role is really all about him and he really delivers, and I think people are going to be really pleasantly surprised and excited to see him taking on such a big role."
Kellan isn't just Nina's co-star though—they're also friends. In fact, they met each other way before they started filming.
"We’ve known each other for a little while now," she said. "All the vampire shows all kind of ended up at the same functions and the same events, and so we all kind of know each other."
While there is no official release date for the film yet, we're certainly excited for it. After all, this is one of the first times since "The Vampire Diaries" that we'll get to see Nina step out of Elena and Katherine's shoes and into something completely new, and while we'll miss Ian and Paul (we really do love those boys), we're looking forward to her chemistry with Kellan.
What do you think about Nina and Kellan pairing up for "The Killing Game"?

'Vampire Diaries' star: 'No-one is safe'

Katerina Graham has teased that none of the characters on The Vampire Diaries is safe.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Graham revealed that viewers will be surprised about what happens on the show.

"I think no-one's safe at this point," she said. "That's why it's so important to watch the show because you're going to be completely taken by surprise. Completely.

"Every character is going to surprise you. There's not one character on this show that doesn't get a curveball. So no-one is safe. Not one person. Not I, not Elena, not anyone. No-one is safe at this point. You're going to be really shocked."

Graham also revealed that the show will feature an "amazing" scene between Bonnie and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in an upcoming episode.

"It'll get everyone talking," she teased. "It's just a can't-miss moment. It definitely has to deal with a great part of Bonnie's decision on what she's going to do... it's an incredible moment on the show."

Graham has already confirmed that a series regular will die before the end of the season.

The Vampire Diaries returns for a new episode tonight at 8/7 on The CW in the US and on Tuesday at 9pm on ITV2 in the UK.

'Vampire Diaries' Spoilers: Dawn Olivieri Teases Andie and Damon Storyline

Vampire Diaries fans still have a wait ahead of them, but another one of the stars is giving fans just a bit of information to hold them over to the April 7 return date for the CW series. Dawn Olivieri plays the latest woman in the life of Damon Salvatore, played by Ian Somerhalder. He once again has a woman under his spell, and fans remember just how badly that went during season one. Anyone remember Vicki?
Olivieri had the following to say about an upcoming episode and her storyline, according to Digital Spy: "In season one, he was compelling Vicki and it became disastrous. He may have entered this situation thinking it could be a similar case, but it's turning out much differently for Damon, which has been an interesting turn. He's not just able to shrug her off like he thought he could. I can't wait for you guys to see episode 19 - there's a lot of Andie and Damon in that one. Some big things go down."
Damon has had a lot of change this season. His story line has been a bit of a roller coaster. At first, it looked like Andie was someone to keep him company, so he wouldn't be alone after he had to kill off Rose. He is fighting a battle with himself. The good and the bad sides are battling it out, and sometimes one side wins out. He has his focus on keeping Elena safe at any costs. It must suck for him being in love with his brother's girlfriend, but it all just adds to the plot.
What do you think? Are you excited to see more from Andie and Damon in future episodes of theVampire Diaries?

Time Names 140 Best Twitter Feeds: Add These 5 To The List!

We here at Hollywood Crush spend a lot of time on Twitter (it's sort of tough to stay away when the likes of Ryan GoslingJames Francoand Joseph Gordon-Levitt are hanging around on the Twitterverse!). So when Time magazine put out their list of the 140 Best Twitter feeds, we couldn't wait to see which celebrity tweeters we know, love and follow made the cut.
While we were psyched to see some of our favorites like Taylor SwiftNeil Patrick Harris,Justin BieberLady GagaConan O'Brien,Mindy KalingJimmy Fallon and Ellen DeGeneres, we couldn't help but notice some glaring omissions.
Check out five of our favorite tweeters who were inexplicably left off the list after the jump!
Chris Colfer (@chriscolfer): Who doesn't have a special place in their heart for Chris Colfer? Not only has the "Glee" star handled some heavy story lines on the show with grace, humor and depth, but he's just as mature and entertaining in real life (not always a combo that goes hand-in-hand!). We always look forward to when Chris posts, from his humble post-Golden Globe win ("I can't believe it. I'm not sure how much my shaky hands can tweet, but thank you so much! Couldn't do what I do without you guys!") to his hilarious musings ("I'm going to start my 'own' network too. CCC: The Chris Colfer Channel. It'll mostly consist of space documentaries and alpaca contests") he's definitely one of our top tweeters.
Diablo Cody (@diablocody): While writing a hilarious and heartfelt Oscar-winning screenplay like "Juno" is no small feat, we're continually impressed by how much funny Diablo Cody can fit in a single tweet. Though you might be thrown when you see the name Brook Busey (Diablo is her pen name), you'll know you're at the right place when you read clever tweets like, "What if Kate Middleton is actually a cunning sea witch who's stolen the voice of Prince William's true love?" and "I love people that go to gossip sites and type "WHO CARES?" in the comments. You do, you little cutie!"
Ian Somerhalder (@iansomerhalder): As Damon Salvatore, Ian Somerhalder has a bit of a bad streak on "The Vampire Diaries," but in real life, the handsome actor-activist only uses his power for good, especially on Twitter. In addition to answering followers' questions and reporting from the "TVD" set ("TVD is wrapped for weekend! To all the awesome ladies I just met-sorry to be so rushed.Production needed me off the clock and Damon's clothes"), Ian often uses his page as a forum for information on causes, including the one nearest and dearest to his heart, the environment (we also follow his Ian Somerhalder Foundation on Twitter!).
Jamie Campbell Bower (@jamiebower): We wish we could put this in less simple terms than this, but Jamie Campbell Bower makes us giggle. Yes, we're always excited when he shares things from the set of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" and "Breaking Dawn" ("http://twitpic.com/3y1qau") but we really look forward to when JCB lets his silly side show. From his poems ("Fillings done. Mouth numb. Pizza fun. Touch my bum?") to his over-sharing with followers ("Literally about to wee myself with excitement for new Strokes single"), he's one of the funniest, friendliest celebrity tweeters out there.
Pink (@pink): Let's face it, Pink is one of the most badass chicks out there (and a pregnant, one at that!). So it's of no surprise that the singer, who always rocks our world, rocks the Twitterverse too. Whether she's referring to herself as "fat mama," gabbing with her hubby Carey Hart ("Aww you're so cute. I like you so much", she tweeted to him), or calling out the entertainment industry ("Out of Myself, Britney, and Christina- didn't everyone think I was gonna be the troublemaker? LOOK MA!!! No CUFFS!!!"), Pink is one character who is really good at sharing 140 of them.
Crushers, which celebrity tweeter do you think should have made Time's list? Let us know in the comments section below and, obviously, on Twitter!

The Vampire Diaries: Look for Joseph Morgan's Debut as Klaus on April 21st

The current break in airings of "The Vampire Diaries" will be over on April 7th, and then fans of the series will have just a two-week wait before seeing how well Joseph Morgan fares in the role of original vampire Klaus. If his co-star Ian Somerhalder is correct, we can expect him to be "magnificent".
Joseph Morgan is Klaus in The Vampire Diaries@IanSomerhalder tweeted tonight: At dinner with Julie Plec, Paul Sommers(TVD director of photography),Elena, Stefan,Elijah, and Klaus. This got us a little curious as to when exactly Klaus might be making his debut, and thanks to EW.com the date of April 21st has been confirmed.
Per EW, Morgan’s casting is in line with what exec producers have teased all along. Exec producer Kevin Williamson [said] the role would go to someone younger. “It has to be someone that we truly believe was in a relationship with Katherine because that’s where it started. He seduced her and whisked her away,” he said.
And exec producer Julie Plec, who revealed back in December that a couple hundred actors had already read for the role, told us they liked the idea of choosing a relative unknown. “That’s what excites me: This idea that there might be somebody out there that no one’s really familiar with yet that can be a new fresh face that we can exploit…in all the good ways,” she said. “The big important elements of this character are charisma and gravitas. You’ve got to be able to be afraid of this guy, whether you’re afraid of him because he looks scary or because he’s so charming that the fact that he can snap your neck with his pinky would take you by surprise.”
It was in a recent interview with Examiner.com that Somerhalder praised Morgan, whose credits include "Hex", TV mini-series "Ben Hur", and the upcoming Immortals, as "a magnificent guy [whose] acting abilities are way up there." When asked about how the characters in the show are taking the arrival of the epic vampire, he said, "I think everyone's on their toes now because he's a bad-ass."
Look for a synopsis of the April 21st episode soon, and for more visit the official "The Vampire Diaries" website.
